Froggy FindINGS

Happy Hump Day! This is just a quick little post about a game I made for one of my reading groups. I would be a rich lady if I got paid for every time I told this group that i-n-g says ing! One little kiddo sounded out crashing- c-r-a-s-h-i-n-g and actually said the correct word! OMWord...how his brain put that one together I will never know! =)

This game works on -ing endings and double consonants. Copy on tag and laminate. I backed the frogs on construction paper to make them look even cuter! Put a small piece of velcro in the colored box and the matching piece of velcro on the picture. Have the kiddos read the word and find the matching picture. Record the answer and color the -ing with a crayon. Then, read your words to 2 friends!

Please let me know if you have any questions. And as always, I would LOVE a heart note! Check back later this week. I will hopefully be ready to post our pumpkins and our bone activity!

Aww so cute! Mine caught on to ing really easily it seems - in fact, they'll interrupt me in the middle of reading a story to point out ing words lol. But, I bet this will come in super handy after Thanksgiving break when they miraculously forget everything I've taught them up to that point!
