A Turkey Free Game- magic e

I L-O-V-E games and activities with cute holiday clip art but I also love games I can pull out anytime. I LOVE frogs and have TONS of frog decorations in my classroom. I think my nieces last counted over 65 (and my classroom is tiny!)! Not only do I like frogs (the animal) but it is the acronym F.R.O.G. that reminds me of what I need to do daily...especially with teaching... Fully Rely On God. So, here is a frog game to help with reading magic e words.

I whipped out this baby in about 30 minutes yesterday so please let me know if you see any mistakes (oooh, I just typed a magic e word!) I usually only print one page of the special game cards (the ones with extra turn, take a card, and the game over) so the game lasts longer and they can be reading more! If they draw the magic e card that means game over because he was caught sprinkling his magic dust on the vowels and wasn't sneaky enough!

Please leave me a heart note if this *freebie* made you smile! I have an AWESOME give away coming next week. Here is a sneak peek at part of the give away...

These shirts are ADORABLE!

OH MY GOSH! Running across your blog I feel like I have hit a teaching gold mine. I LOVE your approach to teaching, it is so refreshing to read your enjoyment and the ways you use humor to get through those trying times as well! I am in my 2nd year of teaching 2nd grade and I know I will use SO MANY of your activites. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate all of your amazing freebies. I especially love your section on classroom management and can't wait to read it in more detail over my Thanksgiving break! Thank again!

Very cute! Isn't it amazing how adding a picture and colors turns it into a game instead of just word cards in their mind? Your magic e is adorable. Thanks for sharing.

Love the shirt! Cute, cute, cute! I don't teach 4th grade, but if I won a freebie like this I would be giving it to my daughter's 1st grade teacher who has truly inspired a love of reading in her.

I love your Magic e cards, but maybe I am just slow today (it is Monday after all) - how do you play the game exactly? Just turn over cards and read them out loud? I was just checking! Love your stuff - thanks for sharing!

Nancy, my friend does make and sell these shirts and can pretty much make it to meet your needs. Check back to see about my giveaway and how to get in contact with her.

Emily, yes, all you do is read the cards. Sorry, for assuming! I should know better teaching 1st graders to NEVER ASSUME! =)
