I will be hitting the follow button as soon as I finish this comment!
3. I think I am DEFINITELY going to try the Mr. Potato head trick. I have a serious case of tattlers in my classroom-and I have to say it drives me crazy! So I definitely think finding a way for rewarding not tattling will be a great option!

LOVE YOUR BLOG!Allycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17743984802285442483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2526200770247679932.post-51798978567713429772011-12-19T10:17:18.100-08:002011-12-19T10:17:18.100-08:00This was AMAZING! Several of us did a book study and that was a great way to discuss the book because the book really makes you examine what you are doing and why it isn't working! The Shubert books are great because they incorporate many of the structures and language you will use in your classroom. The cd's are also great and we sing the songs everyday. The songs reinforce the language you will use and they help build the School Family. I will be HAPPY to talk to you more about it if you want to email me. =) I love it! I teach ALL at-risk kiddos who often have extreme behavior issues and it is amazing what happens in our room.

Danielle, Conscious Discipline is AMAZING! This has been so exciting, but classroom management has been the biggest challenge I have ever encountered. I have read a little about Conscious Discipline on your site and then I researched it further on their website. This fits so closely with my own personal beliefs about teaching and the importance of relationships. How did you get started? What materials/resources would you recommend to get started with?

I would love to know a lot more from someone who is using this approach and having success.

Thanks,
BethAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2526200770247679932.post-22767649442667185422011-10-13T17:07:13.129-07:002011-10-13T17:07:13.129-07:00I love the tattle tongue book.
